Description
Beagles are essentially noses with legs, perpetually on a quest to follow an interesting scent. This makes their walks less of a stroll and more of an olfactory adventure, often involving vigorous tugs on the leash as they pursue an invisible trail. Their baying bark is infamous: a melodic, attention-grabbing sound they deploy for everything from squirrels to hunger pangs. While charmingly goofy and incredibly affectionate with their families, they are also independent thinkers, a holdover from their days as pack hunters. This independence means patience and creativity are key when it comes to training.
