The Polish Lowland Sheepdog, affectionately known as the PON, is a shaggy, spirited companion with a surprising amount of brainpower tucked beneath all that hair. They're naturally watchful and intelligent, often developing a strong, almost familial bond with their people. While they cherish their bond, their independent herding instincts mean they aren't always looking for constant instruction, preferring to assess situations and make their own decisions. Expect a playful, intelligent dog who thrives on engagement and enjoys being a contributing member of the household, often "herding" family members with a gentle nudge. Their boisterous personality can sometimes manifest as stubbornness, but their loyalty is unwavering.
