Beschrijving
The Skye Terrier lives life on their own terms, a dignified and often reserved companion who bestows affection on their chosen few. They possess a keen intelligence and an unwavering loyalty, but also a definite independent streak. They aren't easily coerced. This breed carries an air of refined composure, yet beneath the elegant fur lies a surprisingly tenacious spirit, a holdover from their days of dispatching vermin. Skyes are watchful and alert, making excellent, if sometimes vocal, protectors of their homes. While not overtly energetic, they enjoy a good stroll and thrive on mental engagement, preferring to observe and participate on their own schedule.
