The Magyar Agár is a dignified and surprisingly adaptable sighthound who thrives on a blend of exhilarating sprints and quiet companionship. They race across open fields with breathtaking speed and grace, a remnant of their ancient coursing lineage, yet within the home, they transform into gentle, affectionate shadows. While independent, they form deep bonds with their families, often following them from room to room. Their calm demeanor belies a playful streak, and they appreciate a good romp, but are equally content to stretch out on a soft bed. They are generally reserved with strangers but warm up quickly to trusted friends.
